Baked St. Louis BBQ Ribs

Baked St. Louis BBQ Ribs

Serves 4

Here is what you need:

3 to 4 pounds of St Louis style ribs

1 cup (or more if needed) Barbecue sauce of your choice

2 TBS paprika

1 TBS salt

1 TBS garlic powder

1 TBS brown sugar

2 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp cayenne pepper

1 cup BBQ sauce of your choice

 

Here is what you need to do:

 

Rinse off and pat dry the ribs. Remove the membrane from the bottom of the ribs.

 

In a bowl combine the paprika, salt, garlic powder, brown sugar, oregano, black pepper and cayenne. Rub the mixture all over the ribs and let sit for 20 minutes or up to two hours.

 

Wrap the ribs in foil and place on a sheet pan. Put in a 350 degree oven on the center rack for 2 hours.

 

Remove from oven and unwrap the ribs. Brush the BBQ sauce all over ribs and put back on sheet pan and cook another 20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

 

Take them out of the oven, slice and serve. Let’s Eat!!
